Our journey to fitness...

Like many others, I've had my battles with dieting and body-confidence . During pregnancy however I came to appreciate the importance of looking after your body. To help my body recover after giving birth to our little one, I began my own journey with a Personal Trainer. Within 6 weeks I noticed significant results and by the end I had lost almost 3st of pregnancy (and pre-pregnancy) weight. During this period I also tried resistance training for the very first time - and that’s when I really fell in love with fitness!

Fast forward and my passion is now helping others on their journey towards a fitter, healthier lifestyle.

I was very active in my younger years but as I grew older my lifestyle became more and more sedentary. My levels of fitness disappeared, my body composition changed and my weight slowly increased. The birth of our little one gave me the push I needed to sneak down to our neighbour's gym and ask for a bit of help. 

Unfortunately, my finger came off the pulse for a year or two while everyone was stuck at home but I'm now resuming my journey. 

As a  trainer my motivation is to encourage others and provide them with the correct instruction and guidance to achieve their fitness goals. The human body is a wonderful thing and it's great to see people looking after their bodies and achieving goals and results they are proud of!

Launched in January 2024, Love-To-Lift Ltd looks to build upon the growing success of Laura Meek Fitness. 

We're very excited about this new chapter and look forward to welcoming new and existing clients alike into the gym and onto the journey towards a fitter, healthier life!
